Harry is a16.2hh sports horse, a super chunky 13 year old with a quiet and sensible demeanor. He's an easy - going type, perfect for a variety of riders, and he takes care of everyone, including small children. I rode him throughout my pregnancies, he’s been fantastic with my kids, always careful and gentle. With a love for jumping and serious scope, he would excel as a husbands horse, happy hacker, or in a low level riding club or fun ride home. Harry can be nappy in a new home, I have moved him twice and both times he has become unsettled for a period of time where he wants to get back to his friends in the field. He likes to build a trust with his person - I have overcome this with lots of groundwork and leading him in a bridle so he cant pull away but any new home will need to be aware of this and willing to work on it. Harry is excellent to do otherwise and will stand quietly for a bath, to clip, shoe, groom etc and will hack alone or in company once he bonds with you. He prefers to sit at the back of the ride but will lead if rider is firm and is always sensible in open fields, will cross rivers and will stand quietly for you to get back on or to open a gate from. He knows his schooling and loves polework as well as having done a lot of spook training which he try's really hard at. Harry has been a truly wonderful family horse and is now looking for the next step in his career.
